OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: PS-Altoona OH Avery Farabaugh led the Lions' offense in a 3-0 week that included a pair of AMCC wins to help the team clinch a home match in the first round of the upcoming conference postseason tournament. In Wednesday night's 3-0 sweep on the road against Mount Aloysius, he totaled 11 points on seven kills, two service aces, two block assists, and a solo block. Penn State Altoona posted two more sweeps in a home tri-match with AMCC foe Penn State Behrend and non-conference opponent Bethany on Saturday. Against Behrend, Farabaugh finished with 16.5 points on 14 kills, one ace, one solo block, and one block assist. Versus Bethany, he had five points on four kills and one ace while playing just one set. On the week, Farabaugh recorded 32.5 points (4.6 points per set), 25 kills (3.57 kills per set), five total blocks (0.71 blocks per set), and four service aces (0.57 aces per set). He also compiled a .213 attack percentage.

BEST OF THE REST: Thiel MB Kaleb Proudfoot helped lead the Tomcats to a 1-1 week, as he recorded 17 kills with a .810 hitting percentage, the second-best hitting percentage in a match in NCAA Division III history, against Carlow on Wednesday, he then had seven kills and added four blocks against Hiram on Saturday...Geneva MB Carter Milroy finished the week's three matches with 42 kills (3.50 k/s) on a .290 hitting percentage, including a career-high 21 kills against Saint Vincent, as he also added 32 digs (2.67 d/s) and 14 blocks (1.17 b/s) while finishing the week with an impressive 4.4 pts/s...PS-Behrend OH Kyle Hoffman averaged 3.33 kills and 2.33 digs in a 2-1 week for the Lions, as he hit .349 over the two matches, knocking down 14 kills and adding five digs vs. Altoona on Saturday...Hilbert OH Brad Converse had a strong showing for the Hawks with 23 kills (3.29 k/s), hitting .224 in conference, adding four aces, 23 digs, one block and receiving at .976 on 41 receptions...Carlow Sr Russ Cyprowski led Carlow in its final two regular season matches with 14 kills and 17 digs...Mount Aloysius JR Tayshaun Johnson maintained a .323 attack percentage across eight sets of action last week for the Mounties, tallying 15 kills as the Mounties went 1-1 in AMCC play, he added six block assists and six digs across both games, contributing 2.6 points per set for the Mounties...Wells RSH Billy McCrae recorded 16 kills and provided the necessary offense and momentum to keep Wells in the game during a tough five-set slugfest against Mount Aloysiushe also garnered a .333 hitting percentage in his final Express outing.
