PLAYER OF THE WEEK: D'Youville S Chris Busha was pivotal in the team's 3-1 week, helping to get the Spartan season back on track. Busha led the team in assists every game, totaling 149 in four games, averaging nearly 10 assists per set. Busha was tied for second on the team with 10 kills against Wells on Saturday while he led the team with 39 assists and was second in digs. Over the four games, Busha racked up 31 digs and 18 kills. He currently leads the AMCC assists by over 100 and is first with 8.64 assists/set. He is also fifth in the conference in digs.

 

BEST OF THE REST: Medaille OH Brad Schneider racked up 32 kills with a hitting percentage of .500, while adding 48 assists and eight service aces over the net, while defensively he added 9 total blocks....PS-Altoona OH Matt Huey had 45 kills (4.09 kills per set) while swinging at a .375 clip to go along with 17 digs (1.55 digs per set), four aces (0.36 aces per set), and three total blocks (0.27 blocks per set)....Hilbert OH Korey Schwab was a consistent force on the court for the Hawks who went 1-2 over the weekend, averaging 2.33 kills per set and 1.83 digs per set, picking up 13 kills against SUNY Poly...PS-Behrend MH Josh Oertly tallied 22 kills and nine blocks in a pair of matches for the Lions, registering 14 kills on 26 attempts for a .462 attack percentage, along with eight blocks against Penn State Altoona on Friday night.
