OH Matt Huey had a big week for the
Lions against Division II opponent Charleston as well as a pair of
NEAC teams. Against Charleston on Thursday, he posted 12 kills and
nine digs. Against SUNY Polytechnic on Friday, he had nine kills,
three digs and two solo blocks. In a win over Wells on Saturday, he
tallied a season-high 22 kills to go along with five digs, one solo
block, and two block assists. On the week, he averaged 3.58 kills
per set, 1.42 digs per set, and 0.42 blocks per set.
BEST OF THE REST: PS-Behrend OH Ty Sheehan averaged 2.29 kills and 2.71 digs per set in a 1-1 week for the Lions...Hilbert L Ryan Ratajczak broke the 1,000 career dig mark on February 17 against Penn St.-Behrend with 19 digs in a four set defeat, becoming Hilbert's all-time career leader in digs...D'Youville OH Brett Cawthorn led the Spartans with totals of 25 kills, 14 digs and six service aces in their second consecutive undefeated weekend, including victories over two of their local rivals.
