SWIMMER OF THE WEEK: PS-Behrend JR Mark Patterson was named the AMCC Swimmer of the Year and was the only swimmer at the championships to hit an NCAA "B" cut time. He was the individual champion in three events (500 free, 200 free and 200 back). Patterson also swam on two winning relays. Overall on the weekend, he set 10 individual records and helped set the pool record in the 400 medley relay.

 

BEST OF THE REST: Pitt-Bradford FR Ben Koss had a strong showing at the AMCC Championship Meet as his performance was highlighted by a new school, meet and conference record in the 100-freestyle with a time of 46.56 to earn the conference title in the event. He followed that by leading off the 800-freestyle relay with a 200-freestyle school record time of 1:43.04, he was also part of the school record breaking 200-freestyle relay team finished that first with a time of 1:26.17, and was part of the 400-freestyle relay team that found gold to lead the Panthers to a runner-up finish at the conference meet with a time of 3:09.14...PS-Altoona FR Tanner Yaw set a new Penn State Altoona record in the 400 Yard I.M. during this week's AMCC Championships when he won the 'B' final with a time of 4:38.07, while also winning the 'B' cut final in the 100 Yard Butterfly with a time of 55.74 and was second in the 'B' final of the 200 Yard Butterfly with a time of 2:15.90.
