SWIMMER OF THE WEEK: Cabrini SO Matt Schaeffer scored a trio of wins over two events last weekend. In Friday's meet at Ursinus, the sophomore won the 200 IM (2:02.38) and 100 breast (1:02.78), while participating on a relay team that finished second in the 200 medley relay (1:45.97). Two days later, Schaeffer won the 400 IM (4:26.34) at Widener. His relay teams also finished second in the 200 medley relay (1:45.04) and 400 free relay (3:29.72). 

 

BEST OF THE REST: PS-Behrend JR Mark Patterson won three times against W&J, two individual and one relay victory, as he led the backstroke events, winning the 100 (55.07) and 200 (1:58.93) and then swimming on the winning 200 medley relay...Pitt-Bradford SO Noah Frederick took the victory in the 100-breaststroke, finishing in 1:03.94. The second win of the day for Frederick came in commanding fashion as he timed in at 2:21.72 in the 200-breaststroke, 4.13 seconds ahead of the second-place finisher...PS-Altoona SO Tanner Yaw recorded one individual first place and was part of a first place relay squad in the Lions' 92-88 win at Gallaudet on Friday evening. In the 50 Yard Freestyle, the sophomore placed first with a time of 23.50, and later, in the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay, Yaw and his teammates combined for a time of 1:39.84 to come in first.
