The Penn State Behrend men's and women's swimming and diving teams have been named 2023 Division III Scholar All-America Teams by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA).
The CSCAA has named 714 teams to its Scholar All-America list for the Spring 2023 semester. The teams represent 299 Division III. The CSCAA recognizes teams with the Scholar All-America Award for achieving a team grade-point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher.
The Behrend men landed on the All-America Team with a 3.21 GPA. They had two student-athletes with a 4.0 GPA, including Owen Grubbs and Ronan Murphy. Behrend also placed nine on the Dean's List and had six swimmers with a GPA of 3.7 or above.
On the women's side, the Lions sported the highest female team GPA on campus with a 3.65. The women had five student-athletes with a 4.0 GPA, including Jadyn Danylko, Becca Krenzer, Hannah Roadway, Trulee Stainbrook and Olivia Webster. Behrend also placed 11 on the Dean's List and had eight swimmers with a GPA of 3.8 or above.
