PATTERSON, MILLER, AND BIETZ HEADLINE MEN'S SWIMMING & DIVING ALL-CONFERENCE TEAM

Penn State Behrend senior Mark Patterson was named the AMCC Swimmer of the Year for the second straight season. He won three individual events and four relays at championships. Patterson hit two NCAA B cut times, while setting 15 records. Individually, Patterson finished first in the 500 freestyle (4:38.92), 100 backstroke (50.08), and the 200 backstroke (1:49.74).

Alfred State College sophomore Austin Miller was named the AMCC Diver of the Year after winning the 1m and 3m competitions at the AMCC Championships. He qualified for the NCAA Regionals with his performances. Miller won the 3m with a score of 484.45 and the 1m with a mark of 440.80.

Behrend freshman Chase Bietz was named the Newcomer of the Year after earning more points than any other freshman at the AMCC Championship meet. Bietz broke two records on the way to being named AMCC Champion in the 200 breaststroke. He set a new AMCC Meet and pool record with a time of 2:05.73. Bietz also took first place in the 200 IM (1:54.15) and the 100 breaststroke (57.11).

Behrend head coach Jen Wallace has been tabbed the Coach of the Year after leading the Lions to their 13th AMCC title.
