Penn State Altoona senior men's swimmer Jay Wareham (Leesburg, VA/Loudoun County) has been named to the Honorable Mention category of the College Swimming Coaches Association of America's Division III Scholar All-America team.

After a late night arrival from competing in the AMCC Championships over the weekend, the Pitt-Bradford men's and women's swim teams back in the water assisting with the Special Olympics that were held at the Paul C. Duke Aquatics Center.
Fisher was the high point earner at the AMCC Championship meet for the men, finishing with 27 points. The sophomore’s performance included three individual first places, as he won the 200 IM (1:59), 100 breast (58.69), and the 200 breast (2:11). Fisher’s efforts helped the Lions place secnd at the meet with 207 points.

In a close meet with Hiram and Notre Dame College, Patterson took home first place finishes in the 200 medley relay (27.43 back split), 200 back (2:09), and 400 IM (4:38). Patterson was also part of the 400 free relay squad that took 2nd (50.91 split).
Junior Dan Simon set a new pool record while winning the 100 backstroke and leading the Penn State Behrend men's swimming and diving team past Pitt-Bradford 127-74 in AMCC action on Saturday.
Simon swam the 100 back in 51.95, breaking the Panthers' pool record and earning the win. The junior was also instrumental in winning the 200 medley relay and 200 free relay for the Lions.
Fisher accumulated three total first place finishes in a split meet with Gallaudet and York. The sophomore was part of the first place squad in the 200 medley relay that finished with a time of 1:45. Fisher later won two more events, clinching first in the 200 IM (2:03) and the 100 breast (1:01).
Against Widener, Walker led the Cabrini men by breaking his own 1,000 yard freestyle with a time of 11:15.03, cutting nearly two seconds of his previous record of 11:16.94. Walker has slashed nearly 12 seconds off the school record during his rookie season. The rookie also added a second place finish in the 100 yard butterfly.
Fisher had two individual first place finishes in a loss against AMCC rival Penn State Behrend. In the 200 IM, he placed first with a time of 2:03.80. He later won the 100 breaststroke in 1:01.98.
The men's and women's swimming and diving team collected donations for the Second Harvest Food Bank on Tuesday, November 26 at their home meet against Gannon, beginning at 5 p.m.
