United Soccer Coaches named its collegiate players of the week on Wednesday, and University of Pittsburgh at Bradford senior Chase Rider was recognized for having the top performances in all of Division III.

Against Hilbert, Rider scored three goals and assisted on three more. Over the weekend, he scored his second consecutive hat trick with three goals/two assists against Penn-State Altoona, for a total of 17 points on the week. Rider took 22 shots in the two games, putting 11 of the attempts on target.

Rider has scored 19 goals and assisted on 10 more for the Panthers this season. He leads the nation in goals, goals per game (1.58), points (48), and points per game (48). He is also tied for second in total assists. Rider has already set the Panther's program single-season record for goals and assists.

Rider was also named AMCC Offensive Player of the Week earlier this week, and is the first player in program history to receive national recognition.
