SEAN HALLAS NAMED MEDAILLE INTERIM HEAD MEN'S SOCCER COACH

Sean Hallas has been named the Medaille College interim head men's soccer coach, replacing Craig Wilkinson, who stepped down to pursue other opportunities.

Hallas just completed his first season with the Mavericks and was instrumental in helping them win the AMCC Regular Season Championship.  Hallas coached two All Great-Lakes Regional selections and eight AMCC All-Conference selections in his first year with the Mavericks.

Hallas also worked with Global Premier Soccer (GPS) New York since 2017, working in multiple departments throughout the club and is currently the Assistant Premier Director.

Hallas began his collegiate playing career at Genesee Community College (NY) playing on two teams that combined for a (33-6-0) record. He then transferred to William Carey University (MS) where his team made back-to-back NAIA National Tournament appearances.

Hallas also currently holds USSF D and USSF E licenses and is scheduled to complete his USSF C license in June 2020.

A native of Leeds, England, Hallas graduated from William Carey in 2017 with a Bachelor's in Exercise Science. Hallas can be reached by e-mail Sean.Hallas@medaille. edu or by phone (601) 818-5235.
