ALI, MASTOVICH TAKE MSOC TOP HONORS AS ALL-CONFERENCE TEAM IS ANNOUNCED

Medaille College senior midfielder Mitchell Ali has been named the 2019 AMCC Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Year. Ali had a standout senior season, leading the AMCC in goals (19) and points (42). Ali had three games in which he scored three goals and had a goal or more in 11 different games, including five multi-goal games. His 1.12 goals per game during the regular season was sixth in all of NCAA Division III.

Penn State Behrend senior defender Andrew Mastovich has earned Defensive Player of the Year honors. Mastovich has started every game at center back for Penn State Behrend. In August, he was selected as the AMCC Preseason Defensive Player of the Year. The senior captain led the Lions to nine shutouts on the season, only allowing 12 goals against and only five goals against in AMCC play. While anchoring the defense, the two-time All-AMCC First Team and 2018 All-ECAC selection scored three goals, one of which was a game-winning goal in overtime over nationally ranked Mount Union.

Pitt-Bradford freshman midfielder Thomas Kelly is the AMCC Newcomer of the Year. Kellly led the AMCC with seven assists in conference play during his freshman campaign. He finished third in the conference with 19 points and tied for sixth in goals with six. He scored three goals and added an assist in the 5-0 win over Pitt-Greensburg and at Mount Aloysius he assisted on all three Panther goals.

In his first season at the helm of the Medaille Mavericks, head coach Craig Wilkinson has been named the AMCC Coach of the Year. Wilkinson led the Mavs to a 9-0-1 record in conference play, claiming the regular season title and hosting rights for the postseason tournament.
