HERRMANN NAMED TO OCSA ALL-OHIO TEAM

The postseason awards continue to roll in for Franciscan University senior forward Leo Herrmann as he was named to the Ohio Collegiate Soccer Association All-Ohio First Team, Monday afternoon.

Herrmann, the AMCC Offensive Player of the Year and USC third team all-American, added his first OCSA All-Ohio honors with the first team selection. In his final season with the Barons, the Steubenville, OH native posted a career-best 19 goals and 46 points while adding eight assists this year. For his career, Herrmann totaled 162 points behind 69 goals and 24 assists.

The senior helped the Barons to their best season in program history, finishing the year 11-7-2 and making it to the semifinals in the AMCC tournament. The Barons earned a selection to the ECAC tournament for the first time in program history.

Herrmann adds the All-Ohio honor to his extensive list of postseason awards he has accumulated over the last four years as a Baron. The forward is a three-time AMCC Offensive Player of the Year, four-time AMCC first team honoree, former AMCC Rookie of the Year, ECAC Rookie of the Year, three-time ECAC South All-Star, and three-time USC/NSCAA all-region honoree, and a USC All-American.
