PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Franciscan M Joe Lomady had an outstanding week for the Barons, as the sophomore finished the week with 21 goals, two assists and won 36 of his 46 face offs, while also picking up 46 ground balls. His 11 goal, two assist effort against Medaille set FUS' program record for goals and points in a single game. Lomady now leads the Barons and AMCC with 42 points and 40 goals - the 40 goals ties FUS' record for a single-season goal total with six games left in the season. Lomady scored a pair of man up goals this week and had a 56.5% shot on goal percentage.

 

BEST OF THE REST: Hilbert A Tyler Nicoloff's offensive prowess led the Hawks to two big victories this past week, tallying 18 points in two games, including four goals and four assists that were key to Hilbert's fourth quarter come from behind victory over Thiel College, 13-11...Medaille A David Groves continued his great play last week for the Mavericks, scoring 11 goals and dishing eight assists for a team-best 19 points, he had at least five points in all three games last week and combined that by scooping up 14 ground balls...Alfred State A Joe Johnson put up big offensive numbers in both of the Pioneers games this week, as he led the team with a hat trick vs. Delhi and then tied Teddy Alvarado with nine points (5 G and 4 A) in the victory at La Roche...La Roche A Brad LaBovick scored six goals and added an assist in a loss to Alfred State.
