PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Franciscan A Jonas McCaig was an offensive spark in the Barons' 2-0 week to open the season. In Franciscan's 14-13 win over Oglethorpe, McCaig's final goal of the game proved to be the difference maker as he pushed the Baron lead to 14-9. Against Carroll, he tied the game 6-6 right before half time and gave Franciscan its first lead of the game with a goal just 1:00 into action in the third. McCaig finished the week with eight goals and three assists, picking up nine ground balls, causing three turnovers and finished with a 62.1% shooting percentage on goal.
