LA ROCHE'S DAVID WILSON WINS WESTMINSTER INVITATIONAL

La Roche freshman David Wilson shot a 1-over par 73 at New Castle Country Club to win the Westminster College Golf Invitational on Monday afternoon. Saint Vincent College took first place with a team score of 313. La Roche entered two teams into the field with the La Roche White (316) squad placing second and the Red (327) squad placing sixth. Pitt-Greensburg, with a 338, placed ninth overall, with Pitt-Bradford rounding out the AMCC teams with a score of 342, good enough for a 10th place finish.

Joining Wilson on the second place squad was Redhawk sophomore Tom O'Toole, who tied for fourth with Pitt-Greesnburg sophomore Javon Trout, with a 5-over par 77. 

La Roche junior Ben Mullins and senior Drake Hoberek, each shot a 79 to lead the Red squad. Mullins and Hoberek tied for ninth meaning Mullins has finished in the top 10 in 5 of 6 tournaments this year. Pitt-Bradford freshman Matt Moonan joined Mullins and Hoberek in the ninth place spot.
