BEHREND MEN'S GOLF TAKES THIRD AT ROSEMONT RAVEN INVITATIONAL

The Penn State Behrend men's golf team carded a 307 on day two of the Rosemont Raven Invitational to finish third out of 18 teams on Sunday afternoon at the Downingtown Country Club.

The Lions, who fired a 330 on day one, shaved 23 strokes off their score to move from seventh place to third overall with a two-day total of 637. Rosemont finished with a 613 over the two days for first place. Cabrini came in second (632) followed by Behrend and then Farmingdale State in fourth (639).

Sophomore Noah Kunst fought back from an 83 to finish one under par for the day with a 71 and place tied for fourth overall for the invitational.

Junior Ryan Matlock and Sean Sculley carded a 160 for both day to tie for 18th overall. Matlock, who shot an 83 on day one, recorded a 77 on the day for the 160. Sculley matched his score from yesterday with an 80.

Junior Alex Shindledecker had the third best showing today for the team with a 79, added to his 90 from yesterday put him at 169 to tie for 44th place. Senior Cody Stinson was able to card an 86 for the second round, combined with his first round of 84 to get 170 and tie for 49th.
