PLAYER OF THE WEEK: PS-Altoona F Cameron Gardner-Nicholson had a huge week for the Lions, picking up his second and third double-doubles of the season to lead his team to a pair of AMCC wins. In Wednesday night's victory over Mount Aloysius, he finished with 15 points, 12 rebounds, four blocks, and two steals. In Saturday afternoon's win over D'Youville, Gardner-Nicholson had a season-high 24 points while also totaling 13 rebounds and two blocks. On the week, he averaged 19.5 points per game, 12.5 rebounds per game, 3.0 blocks per game, and 1.0 steal per game. He shot an outstanding 81.8% from the field, going 18-for-22. Gardner-Nicholson now ranks sixth among all Division III players nationally in field goal percentage (71.4%), and he has been a major part of the team moving into fourth place among all DIII teams in blocks per game (6.6).

BEST OF THE REST: PS-Behrend G Devin Pope shot over 60 percent in every category (floor, three-point and free throw) while averaging 18.5 points per game in a 2-0 week for the Lions, recording a career-high 28 points, while draining five triples and going 9-for-15 from the floor in the win over Mt. Aloysius on Saturday...Pitt-Greensburg G Cam Seigfreid recorded his first double-double of the season and the second of his career to guide Pitt-Greensburg to an 82-62 victory over Hilbert in the AMCC Men's Basketball Game of the Week, as he tallied a game-high 21 points and hauled down 11 rebounds in the victory...La Roche G Kennedy Smith scored a game-high 27 points in a 90-79 win at Medaille to lift La Roche to 3-0 in conference play, as he shot a near perfect 11-13 (85%) from the field and a perfect 4-4 from three point range, while also adding seven rebounds, four assists and three steals...Hilbert G Hunter Martineau led the Hawks last week with 17 points, six rebounds, and four assists against Pitt-Greensburg, as he added three steals and one blocked shot on the defensive end...Medaille F Jonathan Smith kept the Mavericks alive until the very end of the game in their one game this week, as he scored a team-high 22 points, while converting 71% of his shots from the field and both free throws during the game, while also adding three defensive rebounds and one steal...Pitt-Bradford F Nick Carmichael scored a career high 24 points in the Panthers' loss to Franciscan over the weekend, his 24 points came on 10-18 shooting and 4 out of 5 from the line, as he also added seven rebounds, two assists a steal and a block.
