Jones had a big week for the Lions, posting back-to-back double-doubles to help his team go 2-0. In Tuesday night's home win over Juniata, he flirted with a quadruple-double, finishing with 17 points, 14 rebounds, eight blocks, and seven assists, with his total of blocks tying the Lions' single-game record. He followed that up with 18 points, 10 rebounds, three assists, and two blocks in Friday evening's home win over NCCAA opponent Regent. On the week, Dwayne averaged 17.5 points per game, 12.0 rebounds per game, 5.0 blocks per game, and 5.0 assists per game.

BEST OF THE REST: Hilbert G Shaheem Ellis was the catalyst for his team's 2-0 record this week, delivering outstanding performances across two games, averaging 24.5 points per game on 56.7% shooting from the field, including going 12-for-19 (63.2%) from three-point range, he also contributed 11 rebounds (5.5 per game), nine assists (4.5 per game), and five steals while maintaining a 4.5 assist-to-turnover ratio...Pitt-Greensburg G/F Matthew Marinchak averaged 27 points over two games, playing over 37 minutes per game, as he shot 11-20 from behind the arc and averaged 3.5 boards with a high of six against Lancaster Bible as the Bobcats are off to a 2-1 start on the season...Mount Aloysius G Will Hagwood had a strong week, helping the Mounties earn their first win of the season, as he produced 19 points, six rebounds, and three assists in a loss to Gettysburg, he then followed that up with 24 points, five rebounds, five assists, and six steals in the Mounties' win against Regent....PS-Behrend G Tommy DiRienzo scored a career-high 42 points to lead Behrend past Thiel, 94-76 on Wednesday night, along with his career-high in points, he set a new career-best in free throws made, going a perfect 15-for-15 from line, while also grabbing a game-high six rebounds...La Roche G Joe Starzynski continued his strong start to the season with three solid games for the Redhawks, as he recorded 10 points, four rebounds and an assist against Ohio Wesleyan, he once again hit for double figures against Case Western, scoring 13 points and adding four rebounds, while his best game came against Otterbein, where he poured in 18 points on 7-for-10 shooting, snagged nine rebounds and assisted a pair of buckets...Alfred State G Darius Cunningham Jr. tallied 37 points in three games last week, while setting a new career-high of 22 points in the game against Mt. Saint Mary's, he shot 55% from the field and 50% from behind the arc on the week...Carlow G Byron Gaskins led the Celtics to a 1-1 week by averaging 15.5 points per game, while also adding a total of four steals and three assists, he shot a perfect 100 percent (11-for-11) from the foul line on the week...Pitt-Bradford G/F Jamarion Butler averaged 18.5 points and 7.0 rebounds per game as Pitt-Bradford went 2-0 last week. Butler shot 68.2% from the field. He led the Panthers to a comeback victory over Grove City, registering a double-double with 28 points and 11 rebounds. In the Panthers' blowout win over Penn State-DuBois, he made 4-5 from the field to tally 9 points and 3 rebounds in just 16 minutes of action.
