PLAYER OF THE WEEK: PS-Behrend F Justin Gorny recorded double-digit points during the AMCC Tournament, scoring 13 in the semifinals and a team-best 14 in the championship game. The senior shot 50 percent from the floor and three-point range, while grabbing 11 total rebounds. Gorny scored the Lions' final six points in the title game to help Behrend hold on for the win. 

 

BEST OF THE REST: La Roche F Tyler Frederick averaged 14.5 points and 10 rebounds in the AMCC Tournament on his way to being named to the All-Tournament Team...Mount Aloysius G/F Nate Christian turned his game up for the Mounties in the AMCC tournament, as he averaged 17 points, eight rebounds and three steals per game, while shooting 48.1% from the field in the two games including 50% from beyond the arc. He led the way with 20 points in the win over D'Youville, and in a balanced attack from the Mounties in the semifinal, was also the lead scorer with 14. In the semifinal loss he pulled in 10 rebounds, recording his second double double of the season...Senior G Meghale Ford capped off his final season in style, joining Medaille's 1,000 point club in the AMCC Semifinals against Penn State Behrend. Needing just nine points heading into the weekend, Ford went 5-10 from the floor and 2-3 from three to end his illustrious career with 1,004 total points.
