AMCC MEN'S BASKETBALL GAME OF THE WEEK: PITT-GREESBURG @ HILBERT

The Pitt-Greensburg men's basketball team will travel to Hilbert College on Saturday to take on the Hawks in the AMCC Men's Basketball Game of the Week. Witha 4-5 conference record, Pitt-Greensburg sits in a three-way tie for fourth place in league standings, while Hilbert has sole possesion of third place with a 6-3 record.

The Pitt-Greensburg men's basketball team travels to Hilbert for a crucial game against an AMCC foe. The Bobcats are coming off a loss to La Roche on Wednesday and are looking to get back in the winning ways. Junior Octavius Hardy is coming into the game recording a double-double in four of the last six games. Senior JoJo France is second in the conference in scoring, averaging 21.3 points per game. He had a season-high 39 points against Mount Aloysius.

Hilbert College enters this weekend’s game coming off an exciting 86-84 overtime victory over Penn State Behrend on February 1.  Shaheem Ellis drilled the game-winning 3-pointer with 0.3 seconds left in overtime to secure the third place in league standings with a 6-3 AMCC record. Quran Briggs, ranked fourth in the AMCC in scoring, leads four Hawks who hit double-digit scoring on a nightly basis. Briggs leads wtih 18.6 ppg, while Edward Perez adds 12.5 points and leads with 7.4 rebounds per game. Ellis (10.3 ppg) is credited with 2.5 assists per game and Eric Jackson is credited with 2.4 assists and 9.6 ppg. Nevada Eldridge rounds out the top three Hawk scorers with 11.5 ppg and 4.8 rebounds.
