The AMCC Men's Basketball Game of the Week features Hilbert College (7-4) at Pitt-Greensburg (9-2). Through 11 conference games this season, both teams average in the lows 80s scoring, though the Bobcats hold their league opponents to 72 points per game while the Hawks surrender 80.5. Pitt-Greensburg enters Saturday’s contest with an overall record of 13-3 and a 9-2 mark in conference play. The Bobcats currently sit in second in the conference standings and had their six-game win-streak snapped on Monday with a 98-82 loss at D’Youville. In the meeting between the two teams earlier this season, Pitt-Greensburg came away with an 82-62 victory at D’Youville and were fueled by Cam Seigfreid’s second career double-double with 21 points and 11 rebounds. Offensively, Pitt-Greensburg ranks second in the conference averaging 82.6 points-per-game and on the defensive side sit third, giving up just 71.8 points. All season long, Pitt-Greensburg has displayed efficient shooting as they currently lead the conference in field-goal-percentage (49.4) as well as both three-point percentage (38.2) and free-throw percentage (74.0). Matt Johnson leads UPG in scoring, totaling just under 17 points (16.8), while Cody Spaid averages a team-high 7.4 boards per contest.
