EIGHT NAMED TO 2018-19 NABC HONORS COURT

The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) announced the 2018-19 Honors Court this week and eight AMCC men's basketball players earned a spot on the prestigious team for their efforts in the classroom.

Those from the AMCC being honored include:

Hunter Martineau (Hilbert College), JR, Sports Industry Management
Brock Kroenig (Medaille College), JR, Business Administration
Brandon Roach (Medaille College), JR, Sports Management
Sean Wilson (Medaille College), SR, Business Administration
Austin Krise (Penn St. Altoona), JR, Psychology
Trey Butterworth (Penn St. Altoona), JR, Elementary Education
Desmond Brogsdale (Pitt-Bradford), SR, Sport and Recreation Management
Ugwunna Amadi (Pitt-Bradford), JR, Sport and Recreation Management

Dating back to 2006-07, the NABC has recognized male collegiate basketball student-athletes from NCAA Division I, II, III, or NAIA Division I or II institutions with a NABC-member coach.  These student-athletes have excelled academically while giving it their all on the hardwood.  In order to be named to the Honors Court a student-athlete must be a junior or senior academically and a varsity player while earning a cumulative grade point average of 3.2 or higher.
