Haynes reached base safely in 8-of-9 plate appearances in Thursday afternoon's doubleheader against Pitt-Bradford to finish the AMCC regular season as the conference leader in batting average (.528), on base percentage (.621), hits (28) and stolen bases (8) in AMCC play. Haynes had three hits on the day, scored two runs, walked twice, was hit by three pitches and drove in another run, all while making seven putouts in the field over seven chances, good for a 1.000 fielding percentage. Mount Aloysius OF Brandon Cook had an impressive week at the plate, hitting .571 with six of his eight hits going for extra bases. Against Westminster, Cook went 4-for-5 with two doubles, a triple, and a homerun, while driving in two runs and scoring four times. Then he added a 2-for-5 game against Chatham, with a double, and a 2-for-4 performance against Penn State Behrend, where he added a triple. He leads the AMCC in homeruns and is top five in slugging percentage.
Pitt-Bradford INF Alex Colwell slashed .500/.583/.750 and had 2 doubles, 4 runs scored, and 2 RBI over 3 games for the Panthers this week. He led them to a sweep of Hilbert to clinch a spot in the AMCC Tournament. In the game two comeback victory, he was 2 for 3 with a double, two walk,s and 3 runs scored.
Pitt-Greensburg INF/P Ben Aftanas batted. 538 with two doubles and two RBI while scoring six runs over three games this week. His two doubles tied the game against Bradford and drove in the winning run against the Panthers. He struck out just once over 13 at-bats.
PS-Behrend INF Mac Ciocco hit .500 (7-for-14) with a .529 on-base percentage and three RBIs in four games. He tallied two hits in three contests last week, while driving in a pair runs in a Behrend doubleheader sweep of Mount Aloysius.
Alfred State OF Tyler Korsky batted .389 on the week while tallying seven hits. Of those seven hits, four were doubles. He also tallied three RBIs.
PS-Altoona OF Brian Chelli batted .600 (6-for-10) with three RBI, three runs scored, two stolen bases, and one double in a total of three games against non-conference opponents Bethany and Juniata on the road last week
