PLAYER OF THE WEEK: PS-Behrend INF Isaac Stouffer helped the Lions to a 5-0 week to clinch the AMCC Regular Season and the rights to host the Conference Tournament. Stouffer logged an RBI in all but one game this past week and drove in multiple runs in three contests. He finished the week with 10 RBIs and having had a hit in each game, he increased his hitting streak to seven games. Offensively, he registered four multi-hit ballgames with six going for extra bases, including two homeruns with a round-tripper against Thiel and La Roche. The homerun against the Redhawks proved to be the game-winning RBI as Stouffer left the yard to give the Lions a 6-5 lead in the top of the seventh. His week concluded with a slash line of .550/.542/1.100, making for a 1.642 OPS.

 

BEST OF THE REST: Pitt-Greensburg INF/P Michael Sullivan had a two home run double header in which the Bobcats swept Hilbert on Friday, as he recorded six RBIs and three hits on the day, while also pitching seven innings and earning the win in game one of the doubleheader...Hilbert 2B John Riviere Vejas hit .400 with a .571 on base percentage over four games played last week, as he scored three runs, drove in three more, walked three times and stole five bases giving him 29 stolen bases on the season to lead the AMCC...Mount Aloysius JR Jeremy Iellimo produced over the last week, as the Mounties went 2-2, hitting .417 with eight RBIs, having a big game in each of the team's wins, as he went 3-for-4 with three RBIs and a stolen base in their win against La Roche, then drove in three runs, as he went 1-for-3 in a win against Alfred State...PS-Altoona C Timothy Richard swung the bat well for the Lions last week, playing three games during his team's doubleheaders with non-conference opponent Penn College and AMCC foes Pitt-Bradford and Medaille, as he combined to hit .500 (4-for-8) with three runs scored, three RBI, three walks, one double, one triple, and one stolen base...Pitt-Bradford OF/P Tyler Aires hit .667 in the Panthers' split with Penn State Altoona, as he went 4-for-4 with a double, home run, three RBIs and two runs scored in game one and then drove in a run on a sacrifice fly and was hit by a pitch twice in game two...Medaille P/OF Josh Wolski batted .500 over four games with a .500 OBP and a .600 SLG%, he recorded five hits, one double, two RBIs, and two runs scored while also pitching 4.1 innings with a 4.15 ERA.
