PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Hilbert 1B Patrick Whelan logged five multi-hit games this past week for the Hawks. The Hilbert first baseman reached base safely in 15 of 24 plate appearances, tallying 10 hits, four of which going for extra bases. Whelan finished the week batting an impressive .526 with a .640 on base percentage and .842 slugging percentage. He smacked three doubles and a home run while adding eight RBI, six runs scored and stole two bases.

 

BEST OF THE REST: Alfred State 3B Josh Gardner led the way for the Pioneers, as he batted .421 with four extra base hits, tallied two homeruns and connected ontwo doubles for five RBI...PS-Behrend INF Silvio Ionadi recorded a .391 batting average (9-for-23) in seven games this past week with six RBI, three doubles, a home run, three stolen bases, and 10 runs scored...Pitt-Greensburg INF/P Colin Solinski batted .444 with three doubles against Behrend on Sunday, as he drove in two runs and had a slugging percentage of .778, accumulating seven total bases, all in one game...Mount Aloysius P/OF Tyler Quade led the Mountie offense, hitting safely in four of their six games, he also reached base at a .588 clip in conference play, including five walks, as his best performance came against Penn State Altoona, where he went 3-for-4 with a home run, while scoring twice.
