PITCHER OF THE WEEK: Pitt-Greensburg SO Andy Prentice went 2-0 for the Bobcats this past week, where he allowed just one run on four hits and struck out six. Prentice did not allow a hit in one inning of relief against Chatham and allowed just one run on four hits over 6.0 strong innings with five strikeouts, in the opening game of the afternoon against Medaille. He threw 7.0 total innings and surrendered just one run for a 1.29 ERA on the week. 

 

BEST OF THE REST: PS-Altoona JR Aaron Sharp had an excellent start on the mound last Tuesday to help lead the Lions to a 5-3 win at tough non-conference opponent Frostburg State University, as he pitched six innings to notch his first victory of the season, limiting Frostburg to just two earned runs on four hits and two walks while striking out seven...Mount Aloysius JR Mike McCourt threw a complete game to lead the Mounties to victory in their first game of their conference slate, as he tossed all seven innings, allowing two earned runs on eight hits and two walks...PS-Behrend SR Phil Myers threw a complete game in a 2-1 victory against Fredonia on Sunday, as he only allowed one earned run and struck out four in seven innings of work for a 1.29 ERA...D'Youville JR Adam Lampman pitched a great game his last outing against Crown, tossing a complete game, allowing one earned run over 7.0 innings with two strikeouts...Pitt-Bradford FR Logan Edmonds tossed 6.2 innings and struck out six in the first AMCC start of his career...La Roche FR Zach Oddi appeared in two games and threw 1.2 scoreless innings.
