Mannering pitched a complete game against the Devils, allowing one earned run on three hits. He struck out 12 batters, including 10 of the first 15 batters he faced.
BEST OF THE REST: PS-Altoona SR Eli Wiles had a strong start to lead the Lions to a game two victory over SUNY Poly on Saturday, pitching a complete game and going all seven innings, allowing only four hits, two walks, and one run while striking out eight batters...Alfred State SR Christopher Mattoon pitched a complete 7.0 inning game to get the win as he scattered two runs over six hits with five strikeouts against RV UT Dallas...PS-Behrend SO Andrew Bredel tossed 5.1 innings to go along with three hits, one earned run, and a career-high eight strikeouts in his win on the mound against Wabash Sunday...Pitt-Greensburg SO Conner Burkey pitched five innings and earned his first win of the season against Clark, striking out five batters and giving up just two earned runs in his start...Hilbert SR Joe Reitebach tossed six innings of two-hit ball with nine strikeouts and did not allow an earned run to pick up his first win of the season.
