PITCHER OF THE WEEK: PS-Altoona SO Kyle Glass recorded his fourth win of the season in game one of Saturday's doubleheader against Hilbert, tossing his team-best sixth complete game of the spring. The right-hander pitched all nine innings, allowing just one run on three hits and a walk, and he fanned a career-high 10 batters. Glass took a no-hitter into the sixth inning, before it was broken up on a two-out double.

 

BEST OF THE REST: PS-Behrend JR Jeff Zick registered another quality start without allowing a run, this go-around against Hilbert, he held the Hawks to just two hits and cruised through seven innings, logging double-digit strikeouts, fanning 10 batters while earning his fourth win of the season....Alfred State SR AJ Gartland picked up his fourth win of the season after recording a 1.59 era, pitching 5.2 innings and only allowing one hit, one run, walking three and striking out four in the Pioneers' 3-2 win over La Roche...Pitt-Bradford SR Reid Tarnowski threw two complete games with a 1-1 record for the Panthers this week, as he recorded a 2.57 ERA in two complete games, allowing a total of four earned runs and striking out 10...Hilbert SO Michael Contini logged another quality start for the Hawks this week, as the Hilbert ace went six innings against Penn State Behrend allowing just three hits, one earned run and striking out five batters...Medaille SR Derek Holtz earned a 1.29 ERA allowing six hits with seven strikeouts, averaging nine strikeouts per nine innings, while also recording one putout and one assist on two total chances.
