La Roche third baseman Brian Tougher has been named to D3Baseball's National Team of the Week. One player from each position is selected to the team from over 350 NCAA Division III baseball teams.

Tougher hit .786 (11 for 14) in a 4-0 week for the Redhawks. He reached base 13 times in four games and twice went 3 for 3. He scored six runs, hit in three, doubled and walked twice. 

Tougher is just the third Redhawk to earn the prestigious award. Shane Healey made the team in 2013 and Colin Feikles made it last season.
