The 2014 AMCC baseball tournament gets into gear on Saturday when #3 Mount Aloysius College hosts #6 seed Penn St. Altoona and #5 Pitt-Bradford travels to #4 Pitt-Greensburg.
The first round format is a best two of three games, seven
inning set, with the winner advancing to the championship round
next Friday at La Roche College. The top seeded Redhawks will
face the winner of Pitt-Bradford/Pitt-Greensburg, while #2 seed and
defending champion Penn St. Behrend will take on the winner of
Mount Aloysius/Penn St. Altoona.
The four team, double elimination tournament will conclude on
Sunday, May 11. The AMCC champion will advance to the NCAA
Division III tournament.
