FREDONIA, N.Y. --
Aleeya Clemons (Olean, N.Y.) and
Danielle Spring (Allegany, N.Y.) had two goals each in Fredonia's 6-0 women's soccer home win over Medaille.
Karly Torppey (Niagara Falls, N.Y.) added a goal and an assist,
Lauren Cullinan (Clarence, N.Y.) had two assists, and
Olivia Coccitto (Spencerport, N.Y.) had one goal for the Blue Devils, who improved to 2-3-0.
The three goals gave Clemons a team-leading three this season while the two goals for Spring were her first as a collegian.
Fredonia goalkeeper
Kendall Owczarzak (Lancaster, N.Y.) was called on to make just one save in posting the shutout. Fredonia outshot Medaille, 35-1, with 23 of those shots on net.
Medaille goalkeeper Deejah Burgess was credited with 17 saves.
Next up for the Blue Devils is a Saturday afternoon game at Rochester Institute of Technology. Game time is 3 p.m.
