BRADFORD, Pa. - The SUNY Poly men's soccer dominated the second half of their non-conference matchup with the Pitt.-Bradford Panthers on Wednesday night, scoring four goals in the second half of a 4-0 win. The Wildcat offense exploded to score all four goals in the game in a 15-minute span. The Wildcats are now 4-3-2 this season. Edward Greene and Wakeley Banker had big performances for SUNY Poly. Greene had five points on a pair of goals and an assist. Banker had two goals.

THE GOALS:

Wakeley Banker opened up the scoring in the 52nd minute of play. Xander Novack set the table for Banker with a beautiful corner kick that went to the far side of the box. Banker headed the corner on a bounce past the diving goalkeeper to give the Wildcats the lead.

Edward Greene scored the Wildcat's second goal in the 60th minute off an assist by Spencer Sidoti. Sidoti started the play on the right side of the box with a defender all over him. Multiple Wildcat players had leverage on their defender, but Sidoti passed them over to find Green in full stride breaking from the top of the box to the middle of the goal. Sidoti passed to Greene, who hit a shot in stride into the right side of the net.

Greene added his second goal of the game to his stat sheet in the 63rd minute. A pass played in from the right by Aboubacar Camara, intended for Christian Toma was deflected by the Panther defense. Green was in the perfect place at the perfect time as the deflected pass found him in stride with an open lane to the goal. He took advantage of the opportunity, scoring to the bottom left corner.

Banker's second goal of the game was nearly a mirror image of his first. The goal was scored off of a well-placed corner kick by Edward Greene that found Banker's head in the middle of the box. He headed the shot past the goalkeeper to give the Wildcats a 4-0 lead in the 67th minute.
