HAMBURG, N.Y. – Penn State Altoona found all the right angles on all three of their scores today as Jon Saeli scored his first Hilbert goal in the Hawks' 3-1 loss to the visiting Lions.

Hilbert played solid defense for the first 44 minutes of the opening period.  But at 44:08, a rebound shot off a Tucker Reynolds save lifted Altoona just before intermission.  Then less than two minutes into the second half, the Lions finished a cross to the middle building a 2-0 lead at 46:53.

Altoona stretched the difference to 3 goals in the 64th minute and Saeli completed the day's scoring at 83:24 when his shot deflected through the goalies legs over the goal line.  Travis Hicks was credited with the centering pass.

Tucker Reynolds posted seven saves for Hilbert.  Garrett Rehner and Brandon Bundschuh each posted four shots while Hicks finished with three.

The Hawks (0-9, 0-3) return to the varsity field this week when they welcome Pitt.-Bradford to Hamburg for a 2pm game October 4.
