ERIE, Pa. – The Hiram men's volleyball team posted a 3-1 win over Penn State Behrend in the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Game of the Week on Saturday afternoon in the Junker Center.

Score: Hiram 3, Penn State Behrend 1 (25-18, 18-25, 21-25, 23-25)
Records: Penn State Behrend (9-14, 4-3 AMCC), Hiram (16-11, 6-1 AMCC)

Key Moments:

* The Behrend Lions forced 11 attack errors by the Terriors and tallied 11 kills on 24 attempts to win set one
* Joseph Sciscio (Warrington, PA/Central Bucks South) had five kills and hit .833 in the opening set
* The first set had 13 ties and seven lead changes
* Tied at 16-all, the Lions went on a 9-2 run thanks to eight errors and a kill from Daniel Easly (Erie, PA/McDowell)
* Hiram held Behrend to three kills in the second to even the match at 1-all
* The Terriers, who hit .514 for the match, won the narrowly won the next two sets to stay in second place in the conference while dropping the Lions into a tie for fourth
* Sciscio led with a career-high nine kills and three aces over the four sets and Kyle Hoffman (Carlton, PA/Cochranton) also contributed nine kills and a team-best 10 digs
* Owen Wienczkowski (Waterford, PA/Fort LeBeouf) recorded seven kills and three blocks
* Alex Jackson (Cochranton, PA/Cochranton) dished out 25 assists and added six digs
