GREENVILLE, Pa. – La Roche women's tennis took the court on Thursday for a matchup against Thiel, returning to action for the first time since Oct. 8.
In doubles play, the Tomcats took all three matches by scores of 8-0 in #1 doubles, while Catherine Moran and Makayla Abram fell 8-2 in #2 doubles and Madison Dalverny and Kathryn Strang dropped #3 doubles, 8-1.
In singles play, Teresa Munoz Torrado came through with a win for the Redhawks, taking down her #1 singles opponent 6-0, 7-5.
Abram battled tough in #3 singles, falling by scores of 6-2 and a very close 6-4.
The other four singles matchups saw Thiel come out victorious 6-1, 6-0 in #2 singles, 6-0, 6-1 in #5 singles and 6-0, 6-0 in #4 and #6 singles.
