* The Lions were 1-1 this past weekend at the Baron Fall Classic, competing against Muskingum and host Franciscan
* Behrend earned its first victory of the season, 4-0, over Muskingum on Friday

* Schwarzel and John Ziobro (Westtown, NY/Minisink Valley) had the best chances to score for the Lions off a corner kick in the 81^st minute, but both of their shots were stopped by the Barons goalkeeper

* Grove City has started the 2023 season with an 0-2-2 record, dropping its last contest at Denison (2-0)
* Sophomore Aidan Eck has notched the only points of the season for the Wolverines, which was an unassisted goal against Lancaster Bible
