HAMBURG, N.Y. - Sophomore Tucker Reynolds was credited with a career-high 17 saves this afternoon as the Hilbert College men's soccer team suffered a 7-0 defeat to the Thiel Tomcats.

The Hawks (0-4) did not back down from Thiel (4-1) as they battled all afternoon for each loose ball.  Hilbert played a man-down for several minutes on several occasions as  players recovered  from in-game miscues.

Thiel out shot the Hawks 45-14, and held a 24-3 advantage in shots-on-goal.

Junior Brandon Bundschuh led the Hawks with eight shots, three on target.  Hilbert found room to let loose today as they earned a season-high 14 shots against the Tomcats.

Reynolds has already earned two double figure Saves Games in his three starts this 2018 season.

The Hawks continue their home field advantage when they host Cazenovia College this Saturday, September 15 in a 3:15 pm kick.
