CRESSON, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's volleyball team improved to 2-1 in Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) action, defeating Mt. Aloysius 3-0 on Saturday afternoon.

Key Moments:
* Owen Wienczkowski (Waterford, PA/Fort LeBeouf) led with 14 kills and Kyle Hoffman (Carlton, PA/Cochranton) added 10 kills and a team-best six digs
* Alex Jackson (Cochranton, PA/Cochranton) managed 37 assists, three block assists and three kills
* In the first set, the Mounties took a quick lead at 16-15 but the Lions went on a 10-4 run to win 25-20
* Hoffman and Kevin Skweres (White Oak, PA/Norwin) each added two kills in the run
* Wienczkowski posted five kills in a closer second set, knocking down a pair including the final point for a 25-22 decision
* Behrend pulled away in the middle of the third set with a 17-11 lead
* After Mt. Aloysius won the next two points, the Lions won five straight to stay out in front for good
* Lewis Rhodes (Reston, VA) contributed four block assists and four digs, while Skweres finished with five kills
