ERIE, Pa. – In a last minute decision, based on field conditions in Hamburg, the Hilbert College baseball program hosted Penn State Altoona at Penn State Behrend's campus April 25.  The Lions diverted their bus enroute so that the previously twice postponed AMCC game could be played.

The Hawks trailed by one run in the first game before Altoona outscored Hilbert 4-1 to take a 9-5 opening victory.  The second game was a 2-1 game until the top of the seventh when Altoona posted three runs and followed with four more which stretched their lead to 9-1.  The Hawks scored twice in the bottom of the ninth cutting the score before losing 9-3.
