Volleyball to Host Penn State Behrend in AMCC Game of the Week

Bradford, Pa. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford women's volleyball team will bring its 13 game winning streak into the AMCC Game of the Week on Wednesday when they host Penn State-Behrend for a rematch of the 2019 AMCC Championship.

Pitt-Bradford enters the game of the week on a 13 game winning streak and a 14-3 overall record. They have won the games in short order, winning 25 straight sets, and 39 out of 42 possible. As a team, they lead the conference in kills (680), assists (603), and total blocks (92). The Panthers have been led by senior Emily Cleveland who leads the AMCC in Kills (230) and kills per set (3.97) and is fourth in hitting percentage (.288). Cleveland has not been alone, as freshman Olivia Reese is tied for second in the AMCC in kills with 143. Junior Tabitha Walker leads the AMCC in assists with 520 while Jordan Sitler and Kaitlyn Sexton are at the top of the conference in blocks with 49 and 44 respectively.

The Lions enter Wednesday's match-up having not lost a match since September 11. Behrend senior MH Kristin Reiland is among the top leaders in AMCC offensive categories including second in hitting percentage (.394) and fifth in kills per set (2.86). Since then, Behrend has swept five opponents and only given up three set points. Senior setter Dani Kosslow ranks fourth in NCAA Division III statistics in aces with 44 and is 15th in services aces per set (0.86).

The following regulations will be in place to align with Pitt-Bradford's COVID-19 mitigation efforts for indoor events. All spectators, game staff, officials, and team members not actively participating on the court are required to wear a mask at all times. Masks must be affixed to cover the wearer's nose and mouth. All spectators will be required to sign in upon their entrance into the facility, as the lists will be used in any contact tracing efforts that may become necessary. They will be required to provide a name and contact phone number to game staff.

The game is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. in KOA Arena.
