HAMBURG, N.Y. – The Hilbert College men's soccer team had their hands full this afternoon.
The Hawks faced a deep-benched Cazenovia team who out shot the hosts 41-7. The Wildcats walked away with a 9-0 victory over the winless hosts.
Nicholas Gill and
Brandon Bundschuh closed the game with Hilbert's two shots on goal while the Wildcats unleashed 24 shots today.
Tucker Reynolds finished the first half with 10 saves before he shifted to the field as an attacking player.
Evan Robillard closed the game with five saves.
Cazenovia took a 5-0 lead to the shade at half time on an extremely hot afternoon. They added four more goals in the second period to improve to 1-3.
Hilbert (0-5) has a nice break from action as they don't compete again until next Saturday, September 22 when the Hawks open AMCC play at Pitt-Greensburg.
