McCANDLESS, Pa. - La Roche women's basketball hosts conference opponent Franciscan University this Wednesday, February 12th at the Kerr. The Redhawks defeated the Barons earlier this season in a defensive battle at FSU, 57-47, tied for LRU's lowest point total in a victory this season. Tip-off for tomorrow night's contest is set for 8:00 p.m.

La Roche (OVR: 15-5, AMCC: 15-1)

Last Time Out: Jenna Cole scored a season-high 28 points to lead the Redhawks past Penn St. Behrend last Saturday (2/8) at the Kerr, 73-66. LRU outscored PSB 21-8 in the second quarter of Saturday's contest while shooting 56% (9-16) from the floor. Penn St. Behrend either outscored or tied La Roche in each of the other three quarters. Ayanna Mazyck scored 10 of her 17 points in the first quarter and contributed a game-high six assists, seven rebounds and three steals. LRU defeated PSB in both regular season meetings this season.

  • With a 15-1 record in conference play, La Roche holds a two-game lead over Hilbert College (13-3) for first place in the league standings.
  • The Redhawks have swept five AMCC teams in regular season play thus far.
