HAMBURG, N.Y. – The Hilbert College women's soccer improved to 4-2 and earned their third shutout of the season after their 2-0 non-conference victory over the visiting Saint Vincent College Bearcats.

Jennifer Colvin netted her fourth goal and Jackie Morgan scored her first after assisting on five of the team's first 11 goals this season.   Shannon Rogers fed Morgan the rolling ball for her hard shot which beat the keeper from about 35 yards out in the 79th minute.

Jenna Castricone was credited with seven saves and her defense unit in front of her kept the Bearcats off balance all game. 

Morgan and Colvin hooked up for their third score off a corner kick in the 15th minute.  Morgan served along ball to the back of the frame and Colvin sent it home for the game winner.

Statistically the game appeared to be more balanced.  The Bearcats took three more shots than Hilbert but only one more additional shot on goal. 

Hilbert has one final non-conference match this next week before they being AMCC play.  The Hawks (4-2) welcome SUNY Canton to town on Wednesday, September 21 for a late afternoon kick at 4pm.
