HAMBURG, N.Y. – The Hilbert College women's soccer team manufactured their strongest offensive performance of the season this afternoon but dropped a 3-0 loss to Alfred State College in AMCC action.

The Hawks matched the Pioneers in shots (25-26) and in corner kicks (4-3) yet suffered three mental slips which allowed the visitors to win their second league game.

Grace Zabawa posted the team's first double-digit shot performance, unleashing 12 shots, which forced six saves.    Amber Stuck struck for three shots and Macy Kisner, who returned to full speed, attempted seven shots.

Brianna Stegmeier was credited with 11 saves, but gave up the first goal with a ball that went between her hands and feet in the 21st minute.

Hilbert held ASC (2-8-1, 2-4) scoreless the next 26 minutes until they gave up two quick hits over 2.5 minute span for the final 3-0 margin.  

Hilbert (0-9, 0-5) will welcome Pitt.-Bradford (3-9, 1-3) back to Hamburg on Thursday, October 17.  The Hawks and Panthers rain-shortened game a week ago will be played in its entirety beginning at 2:00 pm.
