COMMISSIONER LEDWIN APPOINTED TO NCAA DIV. III COMMITTEE ON INFRACTIONS

AMCC Commissioner Donna Ledwin has been appointed to a four year term on the NCAA Div. III Committee on Infractions.

The committee acts as an independent administrative body to adjudicate major infractions cases involving member institutions and their employees.

"This is a committee that combines case precedent with the collective wisdom and experience of its members to make fair judgements and issue appropriate penalties," commented Ledwin. "I am honored to be entrusted with this serious responsibility on behalf of the Division III membership."

Ledwin has served on numerous NCAA committees over her 35 year career in intercollegiate athletics.  Her Div. III committees service includes Membership, Nominating, and Interpretations and Legislation, along with the LGBTQ Working Group.  Ledwin has also been active at the  association-wide level, including stints on the Committee on Women's Athletics, the Committee on Sportsmanship and Ethical Conduct, and the Minority Opportunity and Interests Committee.
