The Medaille College Athletic Department is pleased to announce that starting in Fall 2020, Women's Field Hockey will officially become the 19th sponsored sport at Medaille College.
Director of Athletics Susan Roarke stated "We are incredibly excited to announce the expansion of Medaille's athletic offerings for student-athletes with the new addition of the women's field hockey program. The field hockey team will add tremendously to the strength and culture of our athletic department in addition to the overall Medaille community. We are looking forward to providing an opportunity for high school field hockey players in Western New York, in addition to other regions, to continue their athletic careers at the collegiate level."
Women's Field Hockey will start its inaugural season in 2020-21 as a club sport and will become a fully sponsored NCAA sport in the fall of 2021.
