PITT-BRADFORD HOSTS MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS DAY ON OCTOBER 6

PITT-BRADFORD HOSTS MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS DAY ON OCTOBER 6

The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford Department of Athletics hosted Mental Health Awareness Day at its home volleyball and soccer contests Saturday. Each Panther team wore green t-shirts that read the day's slogan, "#StopTheStigma" during warmups.

There were information tables set up at the Kessel Athletic Complex and KOA Area run by both Pitt-Bradford students and student-athletes passionate about mental health awareness.

The event, which was co-sponsored by the Pitt-Bradford Counseling Services, aimed to create an open dialogue on mental health.

Two days prior, the Pitt-Bradford Counseling Services held Depression Screening Day on Oct. 4.
