MOUNT ALOYSIUS VOLLEYBALL GIVES BACK TO COMMUNITY

MOUNT ALOYSIUS VOLLEYBALL GIVES BACK TO COMMUNITY

The Mount Aloysius College women’s volleyball team took a break from their preseason conditioning on August 19 to help out the local community. The Mounties were happy to assist the staff at New Day Inc. in Johnstown with a few organizational tasks. Cleaning walls, moving desks and organizing the craft room were just a few of the jobs given to the team.

Volunteering is a great way to help the volleyball team stay involved in the community that gives them so much support during their season. Junior MH Kassidy Shumaker couldn’t agree more. She finds that it is rewarding to help out in any way possible. “Cleaning and organizing may not be the most exciting or the best  job out there, but that was what our community needed us to do. We were happy to do it for them.”
