D3 WEEK DAY 3: MOUNT ALOYSIUS EARNS FOURTH INSTITUTIONAL PEAK PERFORMER AWARD

For the fourth time in nine years, Mount Aloysius College has won the AMCC Institutional Peak Performer Award.

The honor is bestowed annually on the AMCC member with the highest percentage of student-athletes named to the Academic All-Conference Team.  The Mounties placed 62.43% of their student-athletes on the team, after earning four Team Peak Performer awards earlier in the week.

Across the conference, 977 student-athletes achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher as of the Fall 2019 semester, earning the distinction of being named academic all-conference.

Sixty two percent (612) of those individuals were tabbed Individual Peak Performers by earning a GPA of 3.5 or higher.  A special subset of those student-athletes were also selected for induction to Chi Alpha Sigma, the National Collegiate Student-Athlete Honor Society, which recognizes both academic performance, leadership and character for selected juniors and seniors.
