ACADEMIC TEAM PEAK PERFORMERS FOR WINTER, SPRING SPORTS ANNOUNCED

The AMCC is proud to recognize nine teams for earning the highest collective grade point average in their peer sports for the winter and spring seasons as winners of the Team Peak Performer Awards.

The Team Peak Performer Awards were established two years ago to recognize outstanding academic achievement by one team in each sport.  Franciscan University men's tennis, Hilbert College men's volleyball and Penn St. Altoona men's swimming have won the award for three years running.  This year's honorees include:

WOMEN'S BOWLING:  PITT-BRADFORD - 3.11 TEAM GPA

MEN'S BASKETBALL:  MOUNT ALOYSIUS COLLEGE - 3.06 TEAM GPA

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL:  HILBERT COLLEGE - 3.44 TEAM GPA

MEN'S VOLLEYBALL:  HILBERT COLLEGE - 3.21 TEAM GPA

MEN'S SWIMMING & DIVING:  PENN ST. ALTOONA - 3.15 TEAM GPA

WOMEN'S SWIMMING & DIVING:  FRANCISCAN UNIVERSITY - 3.46 TEAM GPA

SOFTBALL:  HILBERT COLLEGE - 3.44 TEAM GPA

BASEBALL:  MOUNT ALOYSIUS COLLEGE - 3.21 TEAM GPA

MEN'S TENNIS:  FRANCISCAN UNIVERSITY - 3.59 TEAM GPA
